Gabrielle Curry (b. 2004, Nassau, Bahamas) investigates the dynamism that exists between people and spaces. Curry is a multidisciplinary artist primarily working with painting, sound, and ceramics. Reflecting on how space communicates, Curry explores how occupying space aids its activation and animation. Her practice involves fragmenting images and materials, constructing and engaging with space and viewers. She often experiments with markings and traces as a way of language.

Curry earned a Foundation Diploma in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London (UAL). She participated in a student exchange program at Zurich University of the Arts (Fall 2024) and intends to graduate with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Arts, UAL, in 2026.

Curry has participated in exhibitions across Europe and the Caribbean. Notably, she was selected for the University Art Biennial - Art Week 2025 in Mallorca, Spain. During Art Week 2025, she was awarded the Xavier Fiol Gallery Award, granting participation in a group exhibition during Palma’s Nit de l’Art 2025, curated by gallerist Xavier Fiol.

Her work is featured in two publications: a collection of writings in ‘Force Majeure’ with the UAL: Writers’ Collective, and artwork selected for the Arts to Hearts Project '101 Art Book: Landscape Edition 2025'.

She was shortlisted and awarded ‘Special Mention for Quality of Research’ from the CREA OPEN 2026 jury.
